CKS Free School Eye Screening Program (FSESP)
CKS’s aim was to detect and prevent eye diseases and blindness in needy children. This program consisted of a mobile team including a doctor, technicians, driver and equipment van that visits under-privileged schools and conducts free eye screenings. All school children had their vision tested and were provided with free medicines and spectacles. To date more than 175,000 children of government schools Madaris and schools run by The Citizens Foundation (TCF) have benefitted from this program.
